Weight Control Recommendations
by Dr. Mercola
It’s 5-2-1-0, and it breaks down like this:
5: Eat five vegetables and fruits a day (the majority of this should be vegetables). Limit your fructose consumption from fruits to under 15 grams per day. You can use the table lower on this page to help you determine the fructose content of common fruits.
2: Limit screen time — TV in particular — to 2 hours or less a day. (Robert Lustig, MD a endocrinologist at the University of California who specializes in weight loss, integrates for every minute of screen time (TV or video games) a minute of exercise is required.
1: Do one hour of physical activity a day.
0: Have zero sugar-sweetened or diet drinks.

MORE TIME FOR EMERGENCY STROKE TREATMENT!
More time for emergency stroke treatment?
From the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
Stroke patients who reach the hospital within three hours of experiencing symptoms can be treated with a drug that breaks up blood clots and restores blood flow, potentially sparing precious brain tissue from damage. Current guidelines state that the drug, called tissue plasminogen activator, or tPA, must be given within three hours. A study published today in the journal Stroke, however, suggests that the three-hour window may be too narrow.
Researchers at Stanford University and colleagues in Germany and Belgium have shown that treatment can help patients up to 4.5 hours after the first symptoms appear. The study is published online in the journal Stroke. The researchers combined data from four large clinical trials on tPA. Among a total of 1,622 patients who arrived at the hospital between three and 4.5 hours, treatment with tPA improved their odds of a favorable outcome by 31%. A favorable outcome was defined as returning to normal or having only minimal residual symptoms, such as some numbness.
With 750,000 Americans suffering a stroke each year, expanding the recommendation for tPA for up to 4.5 hours could help a large number of people, said the lead author of the study, Maarten Lansberg, an assistant professor of neurology and neurological sciences at Stanford.
"We've known that this treatment works for ischemic stroke since 1995," Lansberg said in a news release. "But in the United States, only about 3% of stroke patients end up getting treated. Most of them are ineligible because they come to the hospital after the three-hour time window."
The Food and Drug Administration has approved tPA for use in the first three hours after stroke symptoms begin. But doctors can use the medication after that three-hour window as an "off-label" indication. - - - - - - - - - - - -
The following recipe may help temporally stop stroke. This must be prepared in advance. Capsicum: Combine: 1 part Cheyenne Pepper & 4 parts Vodka
Cure by placing on a window seal in daylight for 2 weeks. Shake well, every day. Strain and place liquid in a dark bottle with a dropper a dropper. One dropper full under the tongue is one application. - - - - - - - - - - - -
The Sea Herbal drink, Limu, may be excellent nutritional support for vascular health and may increase healing in event of strokes as good nutrition supports health and healing. A diet of mostly fresh, steamed, saute’d vegetables and some fresh fruit supports an alkaline diet that supports and builds health. HEART HEALTH
Heart Health
Facts:
Heart disease is epidemic in our nation
One out of three American have some degree of heart disease.
Over 60% of women who have heart disease die with their first attack,
many without ever knowing that they had a heart health problem. 46% of men have heart attacks. Dairy products may be the number one food contributing to heart disease.
(When you look at your empty milk glass, you can see what is sticking
to your veins and arteries.) Stress is a key ingredient for heart disease.
More heart attacks occur on Monday than any other day of the week, primarily because people hate their jobs and dread going to work.
Conventional medicine may offer drugs and surgery to correct heart problems. Some medical doctors recommend dietary changes and exercise. Yet hospitals under the direction of dietitians will serve to heart attack patients, the very foods that contribute to heart disease.
Alternative or complimentary medicine may also offer dietary changes and an exercise program. Some may recommend Chelation, a proven therapy that gradually removes plaque from the walls of veins and arteries. According the severity of heart disease, Chelation may be taken as a pill that can be purchased at any health food store, from a recipe of combined ingredients to be eaten, or intravenously with a series of treatments. Because this is a nutritional alternative, it is not covered by insurance. It is unlikely that heart doctors will recommend a natural alternative to drugs and surgery. Should you choose intravenous Chelation, you would be under a medical doctor’s care; these doctors can be located through the intranet. Should you decide to choose natural alternatives, it is recommended that you get regular check-ups with your medical doctor. Consider all choices for your health before it becomes life threatening. Check out going to the Whitaker Wellness Institute where natural alternatives are administered under medical doctors and health professionals. The clinic has a 30+ year history of reversing heart disease and other life threatening diseases.
What to do if someone is having a heart attack: Call 911
Heart attack symptoms for women may include feelings of: indigestion, sensations/discomfort under breastbone, and jaw discomfort. For men: chest pain, cold sweats, left arm numbness.
Complimentary medicine that may stop a heart attack while help is on the way:
-Capsicum in the mouth or under the tongue
-Ki energetic touch: wrap left hand around left little finger and place finger tips of right hand
on gently the spine between the shoulder blades until symptoms subside
-If you are the victim, use Capsicum. If unable to access Capsicum, some report a strong rhythmic coughing may help reset the heart beat
Self diagnosis never takes the place of professional evaluation & care. Always seek medical attention.

2 Clove garlic
1 cup almonds or cashews (finely chopped for better results)
2 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
4 tablespoons lemon juice
12 tablespoons olive oil
- Put the cilantro and olive oil in blender (food processor works better) and
process until the cilantro is chopped.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and process to a lumpy paste. (You may

- You can change the consistency by altering the amount of olive oil and
lemon juice, but keep the 3:1 ratio of oil to juice.
To preserve the freshness, you can freeze half in 2 teaspoon servings in ice trays. Pop the frozen servings into a zip lock bag and store in freezer until needed.
